What This Movement is About in West Oʻahu

We unite communities to advocate peaceful action and meaningful civic change.

Building Collective Power From National to Local

The West Oʻahu Chapter is part of Indivisible, a national grassroots movement formed in December 2016 to defeat the Trump agenda of racism, misogyny, and authoritarianism. Indivisible boasts a nationwide network of thousands of local groups across the US, representing over a million people. The Chapter is one of the fourteen chapters of the Indivisible Hawaiʻi Statewide Network which spans four islands.

About Us

We engage with our elected officials at all levels of government to fight for progressive policies, democratic values, and a healthy and sustainable Hawaiʻi. Indivisible West Oʻahu is the latest chapter in the Indivisible Hawaiʻi Statewide Network. Although all who agree with Indivisible's principles are welcome, we are primarily focused on providing opportunities for interested activists living in zip code areas 96706, 96707, 96792, and 96797. Geographically, this includes Mākaha, Waiʻanae, Māʻili, Nānākuli, Ko Olina, Kapolei, ʻEwa, ʻEwa Beach, and Waipahu. We held a successful rally in Kapolei in October 2025 for No Kings and We Say No Dictators Day and look forward to hosting an even larger enthusiastic Kapolei rally on March 28, 2026.

Our 2026 Goals

We join with Indivisible Hawaiʻi in advocating the State Legislature on six issues key to our democracy: preserve and enhance migrant rights, ensure good government and free and fair elections, improve affordability for working families, ensure healthcare access for all residents, preserve and protect LGBTQIA+ rights, and improve gun safety. Finally, we support Indivisible’s and Indivisible Hawaii’s efforts to flip Congress blue in 2026 in order to restore and protect our democracy,
